Peach Almond Oat Power Smoothie

I tried another power smoothie from Thriving Home blog this afternoon. My husband and I were starving, and are trying to climb back on the make-smarter-food-choices wagon. This made enough to fill us both up until dinner time, and was delicious with the frozen GA peaches I have stashed in my freezer!

Peach Power Smoothie

-1 very ripe fresh peach, chopped ( or about 1 cup frozen peaches)
-1 small very ripe banana, sliced and frozen (I now just peel and slice lots of super ripe bananas and keep in my freezer)
-1T almond butter
-¼ cup rolled oats
-1 T flax seeds or meal
-½ tsp vanilla extract
-¼ tsp ground cinnamon
-1 cup plain unsweetened almond milk, I probably needed an extra 1/2 cup to get my blender to go
-1 tsp honey
-handful of ice cubes if you are not using frozen peaches

Whirl it all together and enjoy!
