Greek Yogurt Ranch Dip

It was near crisis when I discovered I was out of my beloved Penzeys Buttermilk Ranch Dressing mix the other night. I had just cut up gobs of carrots, cucumbers and peppers to go alongside our stew for dinner and had my heart set on ranch flavors. So I did some googling and my 6 year old sous chef helped me whip up this delicious and healthy Greek yogurt-based ranch dip. It was even better last night after sitting in the fridge for a day.

Greek Yogurt Ranch Dip

-slightly adapted from centercutcook.com

-1 1/2 cups plain Greek yogurt (I really prefer 2% or full-fat varieties for flavor here)

-1/2 teaspoon dried chives

-3/4 teaspoon dried parsley

-1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed

-1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

-1/4 teaspoon onion powder

-1/4 teaspoon salt

-1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Mix all together and chill for at least 2 hours (if you've got the time) for flavors to blend.
