Let me tell you about a strange little beverage I have bubbling up in the glass beside me. It's tart. It's refreshing. It tastes a little bit like summer, and a little bit special. I made this beverage out of skepticism, because I was convinced that nothing with vinegar in it would be enjoyable to drink. That's right, I said vinegar. In a glass. That you drink. On purpose. Now, I know that it's pretty trendy to chug some water with apple cider vinegar these days, for digestive purposes and what have you, but I'm not down with that. But this? Totally on board. As I listened to one of my favorite podcasts the other day (The Art of Simple), they discussed their favorite beverages and the desire to have a drink every night--simply for the fact that they find routine comforting. As a total creature of habit, I can relate to that. Now, don't get me wrong--some nights I really want that glass of wine (or two), but most nights I just crave a little something "special" and the ritual of pouring something tasty into a pretty glass feels like a little bit of self care at a crazy time of day. Amiright? So, here I am, suddenly a fan of this citrusy mocktail laced with vinegar. Who woulda thunk it? I just wish I had known about these when I was pregnant. Pregnant gals, these will be your new jam when everyone else around you is lovin' on their G and T's. Go on friends, live a little and mix up some mocktails today. You just might be pleasantly surprised.
For each mocktail:
-1 T. apple cider vinegar
-*sparkling water of your choice (in my house it's Lime Perrier)
-*squeeze of citrus fruit of your choice (today, I used 1/2 clementine per drink)
In the bottom of a lovely glass, add 1 T apple cider vinegar. Fill glass with ice, top with sparkling water, squeeze of citrus, and give it a good stir. Cheers!
*just think of all the endless combos you can create here!
I do what I do because I love it. The greatest part of existing on this planet is the ability to work with other humans and see their joy come to life. That's why I work in two different worlds.
As a wedding planner, I am lucky enough to get to know couples as they go through an intense but really joyful journey. My goal is for you to focus on the marriage part, while I focus on the wedding part of. Let me take some of the work of your hands and let you two enjoy your day, enjoy the people that will be celebrating with you, and be in the moment.
As a web developer and digital marketer, I get to see your heart and soul come to life on the interwebs. We get to discuss your goals and your vision, and my hope is that I help that come to fruition. Basically, I am here to make dreams come true, and I could not think of a better way to exist.
I currently live with my fiancé and attempt to bribe him daily into letting me get a puppy. Lover of eggs and avocado toast, too many potted plants, a good Netflix binge, and swearing more than my parents would care to hear.
Let's dream together.
